Today, 25th April 2019, marks the International Girls in ICT Day (GICTD). NICTA, in line with the aspirations of this International Day, has been celebrating the Day in the country since 2012 by joining the global effort of raising awareness on encouraging and empowering girls and young women to consider studies and careers in the growing and exciting field of ICTs and related!
In our efforts to localize this International Day, we have been undertaking various activities such as essay competitions, awareness programs, open days, supporting the GirlsInICTech Week and providing scholarships under our NICTA GICT Tertiary Scholarship Programme; all these are depicted in the link to the lfyer below to show the journey of NICTA in promoting the International GICT Day thus far
