The National Information and Communications Technology Authority (NICTA) in accordance with Section 219 of the National Information and Communications Technology Act 2009 (“the Act”) is engaging in further Public Consultation in accordance with Section 229 of the Act in relation to the Draft Rule on Telecommunications Quality of Service.
A copy of the consultation paper for the purposes of the Public Consultation is available on NICTA’s website (www.nicta.gov.pg). The paper proposes the Quality of Service criteria and parameters to be monitored. The Public Consultation commences from Friday July 3, 2020 and ends by Close of Business on Friday July 31, 2020. Information on how interested parties may make Submissions on the proposed Rule is contained in the Public Discussion Paper.
