TODAY the National Information and Communication Technology Authority (NICTA) as the industry specific regulator responsible for ICT standards joins the rest of world standards community in commemorating the 2024 World Standards Day.
The day is commemorated each year on 14th October to pay tribute to the efforts of thousands of experts worldwide who collaborate within the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) to develop standards that facilitate trade, spread knowledge and share technological advances.
This year NICTA celebrates the World Standards Day (WSD) with the global theme, “Shared Vision for a Better World – INDUSTRY, INNOVATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE”.
